Don't get me wrong, we are very thankful for our job. It's just that, at that hour of the morning all I can think about is how I want to sleep in and eat breakfast when I get up like we did on Sunday.
Mmm! Mangos!
In the morning as we got into the truck to leave we noticed a guy stumbling down the middle of the street.
He was carrying a big orange kickball under his arm.
Yep, he's drunk!
Pretty soon he stumbles up and taps on the window. Husband rolls down the window and the man says "do you happen to know where the San Antonio independent school district building is?"
Um, nope sorry can't help you there. We can tell you the time though in case your interested.
"Some guys stole all my stuff and I have some personal business to settle so I'm trying to find the place" he said.
Husband tells him he's sorry but be doesn't know where it is.
"oh, that's ok its alright (he eyes the back of the truck) I just...I don't have my glasses and I thought you were an ambulance so I thought you could help.
An ambulance? You need Jesus honey!
We came home all tired and exhausted and pretty much slept the rest of the day.
