The Door

You know how sometimes there's a song that just speaks to you in the moment and you think

"hey, that's exactly how I feel right now"? 

Well, if not I feel bad for you but either way here's the song that did it for me today.

As I was thinking about the words of the song and the title "The Door" i couldn't help but think how much a door can speak of what lies on the other side.
Jesus is our door, He is our way to the Father, the only way.
If you don't enter the right door you can't expect to end up in the right place.

I have to admit our door is pretty boring and drab but when I look at some of these images I can't help but get excited at the prospect of what lies behind.
(EDIT)** Husband thought it sounded like I was saying Jesus is drab and boring but in case you didn't get it I was talking about our actual literal door into our apartment. ***

It's been three long days since I ventured out of this apartment and I'm starting to go crazy.

Gaaah! I finally couldn't stand lying in bed and looking at my dirty house anymore.

I got up long enough to clean a little bit. 

At least enough to ease my mind and start making me feel a little sick again. 

It's my own fault I know.

I'm going to go snuggle under my covers again.
