Auld Lang Syne

Wow! What a long time it has been. I'm not even sure where to start so much has happened. I've been rather avoiding my blog for several reasons. One being I was too busy with family. Two I've been dealing with some not so pleasant headaches and sickness related things. Three I'm waiting for some pictures that I can share with you all. When the family was together I took a lot of pictures but I took them with my brother's camera and forgot to put them on my computer. :(

So did all of you have a good New Year?
This year we have been having so much fun with the two little nephews. Jotham is only a little over a month and Edward is 9 months. They add a multitude of wonderfulness to family gathering that's for sure. Staying up til' midnight has always been kind of a fun thing to do. This year....I'm not sure if I'm just getting old or what but all I could do was watch the clock and wish for it to be twelve already. I just really like sleeping and it's pretty important to me. I'm probably a border line anemic but If I don't get sleep things go from bad to worse quickly. I was glad we stayed up though since we had a good time sharing with the family. I'm always amazed at how God uses the bad and ugly things in life and turns them around and brings good from them. This year I'm thankful that God uses broken things.

Here are some pictures that inspire me or I just find pleasant to look at. (Via Pinterest)
Hope you enjoy.
If you don't have a natural urge to kiss and snuggle this cutie than you should probably see a Dr.

Show stopping elegance at work.

Did you make any new years resolutions??
I know that's kind of big thing to do but for some reason this year I couldn't think of any.
There is one thing that comes to mind right now and especially since I'm reading a book about it.
##Being the best "helpmate" for my husband.
I'm sure at least a few of you are familiar with this book called "Created To Be His Helpmeet" by Debi Pearl.
I'm only a third of the way through but I have learned so much already. If you haven't read it I would really recommend it.

I get all of next week off so expect to hear more from me in the near future. :)
Ciao!
