Our neighbors decided to kick of this weekend early by partying all night last night. Is it a coincidence that I just mentioned to husband how quiet things are around here of late?
I think not!
I'm over here feeling a little down about the fireworks ban.
Does anybody out there identify?
I honestly hope you can't.
I hope you are somewhere nice and green where there has been an adequate amount of rainfall this year.
I understand the concern and everything but there's hardly a replacement for fireworks in this holiday.
At least not one that rates as high on my romantic scale.
A year ago on the 4th I remember husband and I lying on our backs in the park with the Austin city skyline before us watching a spectacular of colorful brilliance in the sky above us.
I have a lot of good memories revolving around this holiday.
When I get bored I play around with pictures from this awesome app called Picsin.
If you don't have it you should get it.
It's free and it has a whole list of cool things you can do including making collages and adding text to your photos.
You can also play with this feature it has called Goo which will provide lots of laughs.
I can't tell you what it does. Just go try it for yourself.
Well I hope you have big plans for this weekend.
