Once Upon A Walk

Since I'm sure you couldn't possibly be tired of my camera 360 photos....here are a few more.
These were taken last Saturday and I'm just now posting them.

We always set out on a walk and somehow end up at Starbucks. How does that work?
I'll never know.

Yummy Starbucks pastries.

Sometimes I beg husband for a cake pop.

Other times he just buys me one without me asking. Which I prefer of course.

"flavors my senses, sweetens my disposition, stirs my imagination."

Indeed!

Starbucks' competition SIP across the street. Here's the thing....I would much rather support small private owned coffee shops but I still go for the quality. Whichever is the best wins. Tested and tried...we prefer Starbucks over this place although they do have a pretty cool atmosphere which most certainly counts for something.

We always walk by this bistro and I can't help but stare. I'm just trying to catch a glimpse of the people inside. It's such a glamourous place. Large murals on the walls of dressed up men and women in long elegant dresses. It feels to me like a place that holds on to a bygone era. I can appreciate that.

See those big beautiful windows?
Yeah, just thought you should see the location of our future home.

There's this pretty cool old time barbershop here in downtown. I would work there I think. It just seems so retro. They also shine shoes which I think is pretty awesome.

So, the benefits of wearing pants is that you can stand on top of these grates on the sidewalk and not be in risk of doing what I call the "Marilyn Monroe". They put out quite the breeze. Warning to all skirt wearers...for everyone's sake just please avoid walking across them.

Appreciating the details.

See these amazing cutout stencils. They are pretty cool. At first we thought they were paintings on wood but then we realized that every little detail is cut all the way through. It's pretty cool to see for real. I guess it was done by a laser.

All this talk about walking and I think I better get off the couch and go for a walk. See you around.
